Load restraint for trucks, flatbeds and containers

A load that shifts in transit turns into a claim, a roadside fine or a lost customer. We weave the ratchet straps, winch straps and flatbed kits that keep freight exactly where it was loaded — from a 250 kg pallet of tiles to a 40-tonne machine on a step deck.

What goes wrong

The four problems we are asked to solve

Every industry has its own way of losing a load. These are the ones our customers raise most often — and what we do about them.

01

Straps that stretch, then slip

Cheap webbing elongates under sustained tension, so the driver re-tightens at every fuel stop and the load is loose between them. We weave our own high-tenacity polyester to a controlled elongation, so the tension you set at the depot is still there 800 km later.

02

Weights, fines and roadside checks

An inspector looks for the lashing capacity marking on the label and the standard the strap was made to. Our straps are labelled to EN 12195-2 and batch-traced, and we supply the declaration of conformity with the shipment.

03

Mixed loads, mixed anchor points

E-track, chain anchor, J-hook, double-J hook, swan hook, flat snap hook, ratchet end or winch end — we build the strap around the anchor point you actually have on the trailer, not the one that is convenient for us.

04

Consumables that run out mid-season

Peak season is when you cannot wait six weeks for a re-order. Popular widths and lengths are held as stock, and a re-order is made on the same specification, so the strap you bought in March is the strap you get in November.

Standards

What these products are made to

Standards are how a buyer checks a claim without visiting the factory. The marking on the product, the test record in our files and the standard in the table beside this are the same three things.

  • Capacity and standard marked on every item
  • Batch number traceable to the pull-test record
  • Declaration of conformity supplied on request
  • Third-party inspection (SGS, BV, Intertek) welcome
EN 12195-2Web lashing made from man-made fibres — the European standard for lashing straps and the basis of our lashing-capacity marking.
AS/NZS 4380Load restraint systems for the Australian and New Zealand transport market, including the 50 mm / LC 2500 daN workhorses.
LC / WLL markingLashing capacity printed on the label and tied to the batch pull-test record, so the number on the strap can be traced back to a test.
Questions we are asked

Logistics & Flatbed Transport — FAQ

Which strap should I use for a 40-tonne load?+

It depends on the anchor points and the lashing angle more than the gross weight. Send us the trailer type, the cargo and the anchor points and we will size the lashing capacity and the number of straps — that is a normal part of quoting, not an extra.

Can you print our company name on the strap?+

Yes. Woven-in logos, printed logos on the webbing and printed labels with your own article number are all standard OEM work. Send artwork or a sample and we will match it.

Do you supply straps with E-track or chain ends?+

Yes — E-track, chain anchor, J-hook, double-J, swan hook, flat snap hook, cam buckle and standard ratchet ends are all in regular production.

Send us the load, not a product code

Tell us what you are securing or lifting, the anchor points you have and the standard you must meet. We will come back with the product, the working load limit and a price.
