What each type means
Reading a certificate
| Document | What it covers |
|---|---|
| TÜV GS | A German third-party approval of the finished product: the design was tested and the production is audited. The certificate number and the valid-to date are on the document. |
| CE registration | Registration under the EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC for a lifting accessory, issued through a notified body. |
| CNIPA patent | A Chinese national patent for a product or a manufacturing method — evidence of in-house development rather than catalogue copying. |
| ISO 9001 | The factory quality management system, certified through TÜV CERT DIN EN ISO 9001, covering production, inspection and after-sales. |
